THQ have released a video that takes a look into the world of Red Faction: Guerrilla. In a change from previous versions of the game, Red Faction: Guerrilla will be a third-person shooter. Set 50 years after the events of the first Red Faction, you will make your way across Mars and fights against the Earth Defense Force. According to Mike Kulas, president of Volition, Inc. "Red Faction: Guerrilla expands the signature destruction elements of the series and pushes the boundaries of next-gen gaming on a massive, terra-formed Mars where gamers can literally tear down the enemy EDF presence brick by brick..." Cold Storage is a new map announced by Bungie at MLG San Diego on June 14, 2008, Cold Storage is a Halo 3 remake of the Halo: Combat Evolved map Chill Out. It was previously known as Smuggler. Bungie made an official statement online about the level in their Bungie Weekly update on 20th of June. It was first shown in an exhibition game between Bungie members, Lukems and Shishka and MLG Pros, Karma and Legend which served as the map's debut. No release date or other details have been given out yet. It is set in a Forerunner facility, with one screen showing Flood bio-mass, and by the "transmissions" revealed in several Bungie Weekly Updates, it may be evident that Cold Storage is located somewhere on Delta Halo, possibly a Flood Containment Facility.

Combat Redefined Activision has announced that Spiderman: Web of Shadows, will play on PS3, Xbox 360, PSP, PS2, DS, Wii, and PC. Venom has returned to New York to infect the city with an army of symbiotes. S.H.I.E.L.D. has quarantined Manhattan to prevent the invasion from spreading. As a result, the entire city is cut off from the outside world. Spider-Man has to work with both heroes and villains from the Marvel Comics universe to track down Venom and stop the invasion before he himself is consumed by the symbiote attached to him. At this point, characters that have been confirmed are Black Cat, Kingpin, Luke Cage, Mary Jane Watson, Venom, and Vulture. The game is set in the mainstream Marvel Comics universe. Like its predecessors Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man 3 and Ultimate Spider-Man, the game will allow free-roaming action, and players will be able to customize Spider-Man's aerial and ground combat.  Alot of mixup of what this game is going to obtain that is going to make it fun. Call of Duty has already been from past to present times, but is it going to go to the future of warfare? No, as much as it would be loved, it's not going to be futuristic! Instead, the senior producer Noah Heller said COD5: World of War will define WWII. This game is expected later this year for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, and PC.
